Juror’s Statement | They say the only consistent thing in life is change. As we strive to hold fast to precious moments and let go of hurt, the layers of change never get easier to navigate without the paradoxes of strength and fragility. As a complement to the full spectrum of colors that make our experiences vibrant, mood is often set by the juxtaposition of people, places, and objects that surround us. All of the works featured in this exhibition playfully exude the depth that accompanies the intersection of past, present and future through landscapes, abstraction, and figurative remixes of the familiar.
