Passage | Cassilhaus
Present to December 31, 2021
Chapel Hill, NC
This exhibit featured photography from Gail Samuelson and Karen “KZ” Zusman. Gail works almost entirely in color and KZ in black and white. Despite different sensibilities in the work there is a clear kinship between the two artists. Passage is an apt metaphor for both artists’ work. It also connects back to the passage of the 19th amendment; the impact of those courageous women and their work toward gender equity a century ago continues to ripple through to today.
Gail Samuelson, a photographer & CAA Member, has her work, “Passing Through” & “Light House”, on view in Passage until December 31! To view her work, visit her website. To learn more about Cassilhaus & Passage, view their website!
