From the Curator:

Sadly, the human-made environmental disruption is brutal: lands, oceans, and all species going through life in our common “home” are affected: massive pollution, extreme weather, widespread loss of biodiversity, and the resulting climate injustice are some of the manifestations of the crisis. We read about it, we live it, we suffer it… The multifactorial crisis is too complex and intertwined and yet, too urgent…

For each of us, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless at the magnitude of the global problem, while we wonder,

How can I contribute to the solution?

Each i3C (inspiring Change for the Climate Crisis) artist in the exhibit has wondered that as well and acted to speak about it from a different perspective:

  • Addressing the impact of consumerism by reinventing reclaimed materials
  • Exploring the effect of climate disruption in our local communities or global ecosystems
  • Celebrating the unique beauty and vulnerabilities of the natural beings, their interconnection, and even point to the moral obligation we humans have towards our planet

As a group, we believe that change is not only possible but also an indispensable element for critical environmental transformation.

We need Individual and Collective Change! No change is too small!
