CAA Members Juried Exhibition
Juried by Marc Gurton & Caitee Hoglund, 13Forest
“Visual Feast” – Join us for a celebration of optical indulgence with work that delights and captivates the senses. Visual Feast brings together a bounty of visually pleasing pieces that feature sumptuous colors, luscious textures, and overflowing compositions. In the spirit of feasting, this exhibition will also address themes of abundance, community, excess, gluttony, and of course, food.
Marc Gurton, 13Forest Owner | After a fruitful career in accounting, Marc set out to satisfy his longtime passion for visual art. In 2006, he opened 13FOREST Gallery with husband Jim Kiely in the hopes of creating a space that would demystify the art-buying process. Marc has spent the past decade tracking new talent and fostering an appreciation of local arts among his clients.
Caitee Hoglund, 13Forest Gallery Director | Caitee joined 13FOREST Gallery after completing a Masters in Art History and Museum Studies at Tufts University. While in graduate school Caitee focused on curating and a diverse range of contemporary arts, from tattoos to comics. Before moving to New England, she worked at Lawrence University’s art gallery in Wisconsin. Caitee is excited to be a part of the local arts community of Boston.
