What are your earliest memories of being artistic? When I was a child, at four years old.
When did art become a pursuit? When I turned a teenager, about 13 years old.
Are you self-taught or formally educated in visual art? Both.
In what other ways are you involved in the local art community? I’m a member of the SAA in Exeter, NH.

What role do you think the artist plays in society? Art brings joy and calm to chaos.
What medium do you currently work in and how did you choose this medium? I mainly work in acrylic, but I also paint in oils and have dabbled in mixed media. I
What is your creative process? Where are you finding ideas for your art these days? Images that move me, speak to me, are my motivators. I like bold colors; fits my style.
How do you choose your subject matter? Is there a reoccurring theme that carries throughout your work? Not really reoccurring themes but I do like images that show aged imagery. I also like portraits very much.

In your opinion, what’s your best/favorite piece you’ve made? My favorite picture right now is the Young Author. I really like the subject coming through his writings.
What is one of your artistic goals? To have another gallery show.
What’s your favorite place to see art? Local galleries are my favorite places to visit.
