I was always creating art as a child. One of my earliest memories was building a doll house for my younger sister out of cardboard. Each time I worked on it I’d add another room, made miniature furniture and even created pictures for the walls. When I was 12, I received my first camera. It gave me the opportunity to capture images of my life. I truly enjoyed exploring the great outdoors with my camera in hand.
In college, I studied business but still had a passion for photography so I decided to take all of my electives studying photography in the communications school and them I was hooked.
My formal education in photography started in college. After college, I continued studying the art of studio photography.
As I have become active in the art community, many artists suggested I join CAA. As a new member, I am excited to get involved in the Cambridge art community.
I’m involved in the Newton Art Association, Newton Open Studios and United South End Artists. Also in Boston, I’m active in the SoWa Art and Design community where my studio is located.

Artist can take the ordinary and make it extraordinary. They create art where no two pieces are a like.
I’m a photographer. I was drawn to it because I can explore the outdoors while capturing an image at just the right moment and just the right perspective.
One of my passions is uncovering vintage collections of hard to find objects. To capture an image that resonates with the viewer.
I enjoy creating images that people don’t usually see on their own.
So far may favorite piece is called “Fenway Abstract”. I take the ordinary seats of Fenway Park and capture them in a more graphic style.

Yes, I buy art from other local artists. When I’m visiting other parts of the country I visit their artist communities to buy from their local artists.
I’m currently exhibiting at Coldwell Banker in the South End and Industrious in the Back Bay. I’ll be participating in the SoWa Art Walk and the South End Open Studios.
