The Cambridge Art Association – founded by a group of volunteers in 1944 – welcomes volunteers from our membership and the general public. Volunteering at CAA is a great way to connect with fellow art lovers, and support the work of the CAA.
Volunteer Benefits:

- Invitations to lectures, workshops, and special events
- Connecting with the local visual arts community
- New! Credit for time spent in volunteer hours – redeemable benefits will be equal to $10 per hour spent volunteering, and can be applied towards exhibition entries and program fees. Please see the slidedeck at the bottom of this page for details.
CAA’s current volunteer needs:
- Kathryn Schultz Gallery Sitting (Sat, 10am-2pm)
- CAA @ Canal Gallery Sitting (Wed-Fri 12-4pm)
- All Galleries Artwork deliveries/pick-ups
- Figure Drawing set-up, check-in (Tues, 6-8:30pm)
- Fundraising events
- Gallery maintenance (variable)
- Marketing street team, to disburse postcards, flyers (variable)
- Committee service (committee members will receive an $80 redeemable benefit after 1-year of active committee service – this includes attending meetings, participating in activities and events related to appropriate committee). Committees include: Membership, Programs, Exhibitions, Outreach/Development, Finance
